we are the adventure and imagination museum.

The Adventure and Imagination Museum - A!M is an experiential art museum where visitors will not just see art, but touch it. Climb on it. Experience it. Even create it.

Located in Columbus, Ohio, A!M is raising funds to bring an incredible, fun art experience to help everyone to get in touch with their inner artist. We encourage imaginative discovery through experiences, wonder and play for people of all ages.

Meet Us

What if learning were about more than just facts?
What if, for once, almost nothing was off limits?

This is how we think at A!M: The Adventure and Imagination Museum.
Museums, by definition, care for and conserve artifacts of important artistic, historical or cultural value. At AIM, we care for those artifacts, but we also care for and nurture the sense of adventure and imagination that all humans innately possess. We encourage those senses or reawaken them if needed by providing a hands-on, participatory experience. AIM will be something to do, not just something to see. We want our visitors to interact with the arts. To experience them. To create it them. To learn from them. To be changed by them.

Part modern art center and part funhouse, AIM visitors will engage in a playful, artistic journey for the senses. Interactive exhibits combine art, history, culture, and technology to create a holistic experience and inspire visitors of all ages.

AIM is not just another thing to do. It’s the next cultural touchstone for Columbus - so much a part of the city so that you can’t imagine the city without it.
